An employee may be away from the workplace for a number of reasons—family stress, divorce, physical illness, etc.—and now, that employee, is ready to return to work. In cases when an employee has been away from work, employers require an assessment in regard to the capabilities of the employee following his/her absence from the job.

Consistent with our focus on evaluating job-related abilities, Clayman & Associates assesses the employee to determine if he/she is ready to return to work. Consideration is based on job description, demands of the job and the individual’s demonstrated strengths and weaknesses. The process for Return to Work evaluations parallels what is described as Fitness for Duty/Risk Assessment evaluations.
